So I hopped on the 2 yesterday to do some shopping in MacArthur (even though ODU has a shuttle, I'd rather ride HRT) and I couldn't believe my eyes. Some drunk took a sh*t against one of the trees in the parking lot (not the fence against Salter, but the parking lot beyond the orange barricades).
This was late in the evening as my brother Aaron and I were on the #2 leaving Cedar at 10:46 (we shopped, had dinner, then saw a movie).

When Cedar Grove opened, I long campaigned to get portajohns there. After all, there are no publicly accessible restrooms anywhere close. (Back on Charlotte Street, you could duck into MacArthur Center or McDonald's.) It's City of Norfolk property, and the City of Norfolk said "No".
